Introduction:
John Jr. and Bret Kinkele formed this website to honor their brother Scott, who's life came to a sudden and tragic end on 28 July 2000.  The Kinkele family has been incredibly struck by the emails and calls they have received. From them to each of you: "Thank you."

Scott's friends are telling stories of the adventures they shared, the joy he brought to their lives, and their friendships.  These words lift our hearts as we contemplate life without Scott.  It is our hope that this website will can capture those memories for everyone to share.

Scott traveled so far, did so much in his life, that none of us know the whole story.  We cry reading the stories from others who cherished him.

We want to assemble in one place, here,  the story of all the lives that he touched. Your photos, stories and remarks, no matter how short or long, are welcome. Please send them to: JohnJr@mail.kinkele.net.

We all loved Scott, this is our chance to tell the world, and how.

"Never take times with friends for granted. One day you may
understand  why I live  my life the way I do (maybe I will understand
too)...I climb...in climbing I am put in a position where two people are
suffering, and the only way to make it out is  to pull together. The feeling
of living, completing a climb, finishing...there will be a celebration
with those who saw you through those times.
Be glad that those times exist. They are special moments."

"Take care and live life to the fullest." - Scott Kinkele
