Subject: True Free Spirit by Tomra Russell - 8-21-00

I am deeply saddened by the senseless tragedy I just heard about today. I

am a friend of his from Pensacola, and my husband knew him at Randolph.

Scott was a true free spirit and a joy to be around. We played sand

volleyball together several times a week and even went to New Orleans for a

tournament last year. Scott never did anything without putting forth every

ounce of effort he had-truly an inspiration to all of us who were privileged

to know him. I will miss him.
