Subject: thinking of you all
True to
form I went to get my taxes done in the eleventh hour on this Good
Friday, the 13th. I walked in to the office on 25th and Anza and felt so very
sad.
Went to a Good Friday, stations of the cross, service tonight. This
particular service was a little different. Besides reviewing the meaning of
Good Friday and the stations different people got up and spoke about the
meaning of this day, loss and injustice.
I just
wanted to tell you I began the day thinking of your family and Scott
and as the day is ending you are all on my mind again.
This is the day many of us mourn for good people taken away too soon.
Though I'd never met Scott I feel like I know him a little through the really
lovely website you all have put together. The poetry and the pictures are
very moving and a celebration of an extraordinary young man whose life,
though tragically short, was intense, meaningful and inspirational.
I'll keep your website on my "favorite places" list.
You two (Jack and Mary) are missed.
God Bless.
