He made an impact!

During his stay in Texas, Scott touched so many people and brought
joy to everyone his smile reached.

Speakling as a Mom, I am remembering Scott jumping rope with
my daughters after having been up all night running in freezing
conditions at the Rocky Racoon 100 miler. The light and zest for
life in his eyes and smile as he chased my 5-year-old son and
held him upside down with both of them laughing their heads off.

I can't imagine a better man for three pre-teen girls to have their
first big crush on or a better role model for a little boy.

My 11-year-old twin daughters are competitive gymnasts. They are
dedicating their 2000 season to the spirit of Scott. It will be a
blessing if they can carry the ability to compete with the same
grace and fire that Scott had.

We loved him and will miss him.
