It is difficult to express my grief for this loss. Scott was like a
brother
to me, and I am fortunate to have know him if only for a few years.
Throughout our adventures, his confidence gave me courage and his
encouragement gave me strength. He was always smiling and always
looking
for a new adventure. He loved whatever he was doing, and that always
radiated from him. His pervasive, positive attitude has forever
influenced
me as well as many others. He lived every moment and he continues to
live
within me and every one of us.

My wife Karen and I have enjoyed climbing, hiking, camping, skydiving,
sailing, working, and dining with Scott, and are privileged to have
known
him.
