I did not have the pleasure of knowing Scott, who was clearly a wonderful
man.  I live in LaConner and am writing to let you know how deeply saddened
our community is that this tragic and senseless murder occurred.

As I drive by the memorial that Scott's loved ones put up on Hwy 20, a tear
always comes to my eyes, and I say a prayer for Scott and all that loved
him.

I am profoundly saddened for your tremendous loss.  I pray that Scott's
memory is a comfort to you and that you can feel his presence, as you surely
have an angel on your shoulders.
